This competitive requirement is for five smoke detector sensor units (NIIN 015890729, P/N 3301-2, NSN 7RH 1680 015890729 P8) and includes overhaul, repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and return to Ready for Issue condition. The contractor is responsible for all parts, materials, tooling, test equipment, and quality/calibration systems (ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or equivalent) unless Government Furnished Material is expressly identified. Repairs must be performed at the facility identified in the SOW, with the specified repair source/location shown as Curtiss-Wright Controls, 28965 Ave Penn, Santa Clarita, CA 91355-0000. Because the Government lacks sufficient data to contract with a source other than the current source, non-approved sources must submit the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure information with their proposal, and offers missing required data will not be considered. A 12-month warranty applies with defects to be reported within 60 days after discovery, and proposals must remain valid for at least 120 days following submission.

This is a sole-source requirement for 5 each of NSN 7R-1680-015890729-P8, with delivery FOB origin. The Government lacks sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with any source other than the current one. Government Source Approval is required prior to award, and non-approved sources must include the information specified in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their proposal or their offers will not be considered.
