60--CONTACT,FIBER OPTIC - AND OTHER REPLACEMENT PARTS
This requirement is for 2,500 units of a flight-critical item, with delivery on an FOB origin basis. The item requires Government source approval prior to contract award, and only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited. Firms that are not already approved sources must submit the detailed information required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with their proposal, or the offer will not be considered. A previously submitted source approval request may be documented with a copy of the forwarding cover letter. If source approval cannot be processed in time to meet Government requirements, award may still be made based on Fleet support needs.
