NAVSUP WSS anticipates a follow-on five-year Basic Ordering Agreement for repair and spares coverage of the items listed in Attachment A, with estimated yearly quantities in Exhibit A. The items require Government source approval before contract award because they are flight critical and/or adequate technical data is unavailable for full and open competition. The only qualified repair source identified is L-3 Technologies Inc., cage code 06401, and only previously approved sources have been solicited. A prospective bidder that is not an approved source must submit the technical data required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with its proposal or provide evidence of a pending source approval request. Offers missing the required source approval data will not be considered, and award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be completed in time.
