This is a NAVSUP WSS repair requirement for items that require Government source approval prior to award; non-approved sources must submit the information in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure or their offers will not be considered. The required repair turnaround time is 110 days after receipt of the asset at the contractor’s facility, with contractor-proposed monthly throughput constraints per NSN after initial delivery begins. The induction expiration date is 365 days after contract award; assets received after that are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement with the NAVSUP WSS Contracting Officer. If a firm-fixed price cannot be determined, the contractor must inform the PCO. If source approval cannot be processed in time or approval requirements would prevent meeting Government needs, award may proceed based on fleet support needs.
