This opportunity is for the acquisition of NSN 7R-2530-017007267-SX (quantity 6) and requires engineering source approval due to the flight-critical nature of the part and inadequate technical data for full competition. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited, and award will only be made to offerors, products, or manufacturers meeting qualification requirements at the time of award. Any non-approved source must submit the detailed information specified in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with its proposal, or provide documentation of a prior submission; offers failing to do so will not be considered. Because approval of a new source typically cannot be completed before award, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs even if a source approval request is pending.
