This is a Navy repair/upgrade requirement for 8 units of a Distributing System, P/N 449-075-410-103, to be returned to Ready for Issue condition in accordance with specified repair manuals. The induction period for initial units is 365 calendar days from contract award, with the Government able to extend by an additional 365 days for a total of two years, and unused initial slots may carry over into the second year. Offerors must propose option pricing for up to 16 total units, including the initial quantity, with separate second-year pricing if pricing changes after the first 365 days. The contractor is responsible for all facilities, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling, quality system (ISO 9001/SAE AS9100), calibration, configuration management, and storage, and must use SAE-AS22759 wire in place of prohibited MIL-W-81381 wire. This procurement is restricted to government-approved sources for a flight-critical item because adequate technical data for competitive acquisition is unavailable. Only previously approved sources are solicited, and any new source must submit a complete Source Approval Brochure detailing its production experience; offers lacking this documentation will be rejected. Interested parties may identify their capability to supply a commercial item alternative within 15 days of this notice. The requirement is for 8 units with delivery FOB origin.
