The Navy requires repair, testing, inspection, and return to Ready for Issue condition of 3 units of NSN 1680-01-494-9173, Junction Box, Aircraft, P/N 30223-0101, with contractor-provided facilities, labor, materials, parts, and tooling unless expressly Government furnished. The induction period for initial units is 365 calendar days from contract award, with the Government able to extend by an additional 365 days for a total of two years, and unused first-year induction slots may carry over. The contractor must propose option pricing for a maximum of 10 units over the entire contract period inclusive of the initial quantity, with separate second-year pricing if pricing changes after the first 365 days. Work is to be performed at the contractor’s facility identified in the SOW, specifically Simmons Precision Products, 100 Penton Road, Vergennes, VT 05491. The contractor must maintain ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration management, and storage capabilities, and Government Furnished Property is not provided unless expressly stated.

This requirement is for 3 units of a flight-critical aviation item, with delivery FOB origin. The government does not own the data rights needed to purchase or repair the part from additional sources, and reverse engineering is uneconomical, so only previously approved sources are solicited. New sources must submit a source approval request with the required technical data per the NAVSUP WSS brochure; offers failing to provide all required documentation will not be considered. Interested parties may express their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
