The Navy requires repair/overhaul/upgrade, testing, and inspection of NRP, CCA, and Motherboard items (P/N 30117-0414-0101; NSN 5975-016460635) to return them to Ready for Issue condition. All repair/upgrade work must be performed at Simmonds Precision Products, 100 Panton RD, Vergennes, VT 05491. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, test and tooling equipment unless items are Government-furnished, and must comply with ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration management, receiving inspection, and data-retention requirements. Government drawings and Navair manuals will not be provided, MIL-W-81381 wire is prohibited, SAE-AS22759 series wire is required instead, and cannibalization is not authorized unless specifically approved. The contractor must achieve a 100% repair rate on all CLIN carcasses, obtain DCMA/PCO approvals for beyond-economical-repair, missing-on-induction, over-and-above repair, disposal, and nonconforming-material dispositions, and repaired supplies carry a one-year warranty after delivery with defects to be reported within 45 days of discovery.

This requirement is for three units of NSN 7R-5975-016460635-V2, with delivery FOB origin. The flight-critical item requires engineering source approval, and only Government-approved sources are solicited. New sources must submit all required data per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure with their offer, or it will not be considered. The acquisition is not being conducted under FAR Part 12, but interested parties may express their capability to supply a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
