This Navy requirement covers repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and return to Ready for Issue condition of INTERFACE UNIT, COMM (NSN 5895017000735, P/N 123AV93672-1). Government source approval is required prior to award; non-approved sources must submit the required NAVSUP Source Approval Request data with their proposal, and award may continue based on Fleet support needs if approval cannot be completed in time. Repairs must be performed at the specified repair source/location: Northrop Grumman Systems Corp, 200 W NASA Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32904-2322 (CAGE 70974), unless an approved change is obtained. The contractor is responsible for all parts, materials, tooling, and test equipment unless specifically Government Furnished, and must maintain quality, calibration, configuration management, inspection, and recordkeeping systems meeting specified military/ISO/SAE requirements. Warranty coverage is 12 months, with defect claims within 60 days after discovery, and inspection records must be retained for at least 12 months after end-item acceptance.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for an Interface Unit, Comm, NSN 7R-5895-017000735-E7, P/N 123AV93672-1, TDP VER 001, quantity 10, delivery FOB origin. Responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider responses solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement, and any decision not to compete is within its discretion.
