The SBA review determined that no set-aside applies. Contractors must provide the facility, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling, and return units to Ready for Issue, with work performed at the specified source/location: Eaton Aerospace LLC, 5353 Highland Dr., Jackson, MS 39206-3449 (Cage 62983). Quotes should include either firm-fixed-price or TT&E pricing plus estimated repair costs, and the contractor must meet ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality, calibration, configuration-management, marking, storage, and MIL-STD-2073 packaging requirements. A 365-day warranty applies, with defects to be reported within 45 days of discovery.

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole-source basis under FAR 6.302-1 for NSN 7R-2840-015982504-V2, TDP VER 002, quantity 12 EA, delivery FOB Origin. The item is flight critical and requires engineering source approval by the design control activity; only previously approved sources have been solicited because they retain essential design, manufacturing/repair knowledge, or technical data not economically available to the Government.
