This is a restricted acquisition for a specific NSN part (QTY 2 EA) that requires Government engineering source approval prior to award. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited, and new sources must submit all required data per the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure or their offers will not be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The part is flight critical, and the Government retains the right to continue award based on fleet support needs even if a new source approval cannot be processed in time. This acquisition is not being conducted under FAR Part 12 commercial item procedures.
