The item requires Government engineering source approval, and only sources already approved by the Government for this flight-critical item are being solicited. If you are not an approved source, you must submit the detailed source approval information specified in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure with your proposal; offers failing to provide all required data will not be considered for award. The time needed to approve a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed for that approval, and award may continue based on fleet support needs. The acquisition may also be subject to Free Trade Agreements and/or Trade Agreements if the applicable DFARS clauses are included.
