61--CONTROL,GENERATOR, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
The Navy requires repair/overhaul, upgrade, testing, and inspection of CONTROL,GENERATOR units (P/N 51130-010; NSN 6110014521358) to Ready for Issue condition, with the contractor responsible for facilities, labor, materials, parts, and test/tooling equipment unless Government Furnished Property is expressly provided. Performance is to occur at the specified repair source/location: SAFRAN POWER USA LLC, 8380 Darrow Rd, Twinsburg, OH 44087, United States. The contractor must maintain an approved quality system meeting ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 and calibration requirements such as ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 or equivalent, with documented repair/test/inspection procedures, receiving inspection, configuration management, nonconforming material controls, and historical records available to the Government. Special provisions cover Beyond Economical Repair (BER), Missing on Induction (MOI), Over and Above Repair (OAR), contractor Internal Review Board authority for minor nonconformances, and Government-retained MRB authority for “AS-IS” dispositions. A 12-month warranty applies, and inspection records must be retained at least 12 months following end-item acceptance.
