The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302-1 for NSN 1R-5340-014774941-QE, reference 74A140412-1004, quantity 3 EA, delivery FOB origin. The item is flight critical and requires Government source approval prior to award, and only previously approved sources have been solicited. New sources must submit source approval information per the applicable NAVSUP WSS brochures with their proposal, and offers lacking required data will not be considered. Award will be made only if the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements at time of award, and the Government may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be completed in time.
