Notice ID:N0038326QLA11

This is a non-competitive, single-source solicitation for a flight-critical part, where only previously government-approved sources are being solicited. The Government does not own the technical data to acquire or repair this part from other sources, and reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical. Unapproved sources must submit a comprehensive source approval package with their proposal, but the approval process is lengthy and may not be completed in time for award consideration. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, but will consider proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication for the purpose of potentially deciding to conduct a future competitive procurement. The delivery terms are FOB Origin.
