NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to issue a sole-source contract to Sikorsky Aircraft Corp for one probe assembly. The justification is that Sikorsky is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and the only known source, as the government lacks the data rights to purchase the part elsewhere. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal competitive request, proposals received within 35 days of the synopsis will be considered for a potential future competitive procurement.
