This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Navy repair requirement for 20 units of part number 72500460-001 (LIGHT,TAXIING,AIRCR; NSN 7RH 6220 017206479), using competitive FAR Part 12 procedures, with award evaluated on price and firm-fixed unit pricing per CLIN; tiered pricing will not be accepted. The item is source-controlled, so only approved sources—S & K Aerospace, LLC and Source One Spares LLC—will be considered, and nonmanufacturers must supply an approved small business manufacturer’s product; otherwise source approval is required before award. Repairs, testing, and inspection must comply with the SOW, including quality system requirements such as ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 or equivalent, MIL-STD-130 markings, MIL-STD-2073 packaging, and contractor-provided tooling/materials unless GFM is specified. The contractor must propose a monthly throughput constraint, perform repairs/upgrades at the facility identified in the SOW (Grimes Aerospace Co., 550 State Route 55, Urbana, OH 43078-9483), and meet an induction expiration date 365 days after contract award; early and incremental deliveries are accepted and preferred. Repair turnaround time is measured from asset acceptance, and final Government inspection/acceptance must be completed within the contract RTATs; BER, MOI, OAR, and SRA replacement situations require DCMA/PCO coordination.
