59--SWITCH,RADIO FREQUE, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
This Navy requirement is for repair/overhaul, testing, and inspection of four units of NSN 7RH 5985-00-239-5847 (Switch, Radio Frequency; P/N 787-6616-001), with repair work to be performed at Rockwell Collins Government Systems – Dallas, 3200 E. Renner Road, Richardson, TX 75083-2402, unless otherwise authorized. The initial induction period is 365 calendar days from contract award, may be extended by an additional 365 days for up to two years, and unused first-year induction slots may carry into the second year; assets received after the 365-day induction expiration are not authorized for repair without bilateral agreement. The contractor must propose option pricing for a maximum of 10 units over the entire contract period, inclusive of the initial quantity, with separate second-year pricing if pricing changes after the first 365 days. Performance requires returning items to Ready for Issue condition under an ISO 9001/SAE AS9100 quality system, with contractor-provided facilities, labor, materials, parts, test/tooling, and compliance with SOW provisions for BER, MOI, OAR, configuration management, storage, and MIL-STD-2073 packaging. Warranty coverage runs 365 days after delivery of a unit, with defects to be reported within 45 days after discovery, and a reconciliation modification will follow final inspection and acceptance, with consideration assessed if negotiated RTATs are not met.
