This solicitation is issued for the repair of the following: Item: Receiver Transmitter NSN: 7RH 5841 - 016691341 CB Part Number: 349-2000-003 Qty: 2 The assigned Repair Method Code (RMC) is "2C," which indicates that repair is restricted to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or sources authorized by the OEM. This restriction is due to proprietary repair data, tooling, and / or technical processes controlled by the OEM. The Government anticipates receipt of a proposal from the OEM or their authorized repair source. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and proposal. This item requires Government Source Approval prior to the award and the time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure, which can be obtained on the internet at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/Business-Opportunities/Home/ . Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the source approval brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible source whose offer conforms to the solicitation requirements and is determined to represent the best value to the Government, price and other factors will be considered. In the event multiple offers are received, the Government reserves the right to make award without discussions. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with other than the current source. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to Free Trade Agreements. (FAR 52.225-3). One or more of the items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.
