A sole-source 5-year repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) is planned with Pacific Propeller International for P-8 requirements, as they are the original manufacturer and only known source, with no government-owned data available. The government intends to negotiate with only this source under FAR 6.302-1, but all responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration; firms not already approved must submit a Source Approval Request, which will not delay the procurement. The solicitation is not a commercial item acquisition, is not set aside for small business, and will be issued electronically via NECO with an approximate issue date of 27 August 2026. Buy American clauses and UID requirements will apply.
