This pre-solicitation synopsis covers repair of items that are sole source to Mercury Mission Systems LLC (CAGE 0AZ36), the OEM and only known source with full repair capability. Complete data, drawings, and rights are not available from the Government, and the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the prime contractor under FAR 6.302-1. Although all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration, only the source previously approved by the Government for repair will be solicited, and Government source approval is required prior to contract award. Non-approved sources must submit the information required by the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair with their proposal; failure to provide required data will make offers ineligible for award.
