This part is a commercial/nondevelopmental/off-the-shelf item. Commercial item descriptions, commercial vendor catalog or price lists or commercial manuals assigned a technical manual number apply. The subject item requires Government source approval or the ability to provide FAA-Certified parts whch possess an FAA certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag prior to contract award. The Government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the manufacture of the item. Only the sources previously approved or known to comply with the FAA requirements will be solicited. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delated pending approval of a new source (if source approval is required rather than complying with ablity to furnish an FAA 8130-3 form). If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures listed below. All items from sources not already approved shall be delivered with an authorized release certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthiness Approval Tag (reference FAA Order 8130.21G) or with acceptable FAA identifications for replacement articles as described in reference FAA AC 20-62. WSS will not make any exceptions to this requirement. If your request for source approval is currently being evaluated at NAVSUP WSS submit with your offer a copy of the cover letter which forwarded your request for source approval. Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the Source Approval Brochure or document previous submission of all data required by the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of the subject requirement may continue based on Fleet support needs. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair or produce the item as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit with approved sources only under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the procurement of: NSN 7RH 1660-01-585-4984 P8, P/N: 396608-1, VALVE ASSEMBLY,ENVI, Qty. 30, under the P8 Aircraft. The Government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. This requirement can only be procured from suppliers who provide FAA-Certified parts which possess a FAA Authorized Release Certificate, FAA Form 8130-3 Airworthy Approval Tag.
