NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to award a sole-source contract to AMERICAN VALLEY AND AVIATION INC for the repair of one barometric encoder altimeter, as they are the OEM and the only known approved source. The government does not own the technical data needed to competitively procure this repair. While this is a notice of intent and not a formal request for competitive proposals, the government will consider all proposals received within 30 days of the synopsis publication for potential future competition. The solicitation will be issued electronically around 1 April 2026. Interested parties may submit their capabilities via email to the specified contracting officer.
