NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish eff ort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit only one source (Teledyne RISI) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1.The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to performthe required repairs or manufacture of the items. All responsible sources mayidentify their interest and provide capability statements in response to the notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However,all proposals received within 5 days aft er the publication of this synopsis noticewill be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government notto compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice issolely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSSwill not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time for approval ofa new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
