This... NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit Rockwell, (13499), for the addition of one item to established repair BOA N0038317GBN01. Repair BOA expires 28 SEP 2022. This mod will include the repair of the part: RECEIVER,RADIO,AIRC NSN: 7R E 5999 014876103 PN: 622-1239-212 QTY: 10 The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with Rockwell. Rockwell is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above optic sensors. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Based on Market Research, the Governments need cannot be met by a type of item customarily available in the marketplace, FAR Part 12 shall not be used. The applicable NAICS code is 334419. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia.
