NAVSUP Weapon System Support plans to add to existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N0038318GN801 for the repair of NSN 7RH 5999 014904232 QF, PN 8655651-1 and NSN 7RH 5999 014904242 QF, PN 8655651-2 used on in support of the 65-73 Radars in support of the F18 Aircraft. The Raytheon Company 072E5 (072E5), Indianapolis, IN, is the only authorized source of repair for the items due to being a critical application item (CAI) or critical safety item (CSI) and is the only authorized source by NAVAIR. Complete data, drawings and the rights to the same are not available from the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the repair of: Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of these items will be solicited. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. Source Approval is required. NAVSUP will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair.
