The purpose is to re-synopsize N0038321QD304 for a period of 5 days for the procurement of NIIN LLW8AD652, QTY 2. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the repair of: 2 COMPUTER ENGINE; NSN: 0000 LLW8AD652; P/N: 1072351G-82, in support of Foreign Military Sales. RMC code is 4H which states repair, for the first time, directly from the actual manufacturer. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract repair with other than the current source(s). This code is applicable only to parts under immediate repair requirements and only for as long thereafter as the deficiency is under review for resolution and appropriate recoding. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. NAVSUP WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
