NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit L3Harris Technologies, Inc, (L3Harris) Cage code (28527), Clifton, NJ, 07014, for the repair of various items pertaining to the IDECM and F-18 systems. The intention of this solicitation is to award a requirement Long Term Contract (LTC). The repair LTC will include five base years. This contract will include the repair of the parts identified in attachment A. The government intends to contract on a sole source basis with L3Harris. L3Harris is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for providing repair support of the above optic sensors. This procurement is being processed in accordance with Part 15 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The applicable NAICS code is 334220. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, quotations or capability statements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 days if award is issued under an existing Long Term Contract (LTC) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses to this notice of intent shall be submitted no later than fifteen (15) days from the date of this synopsis to NAVSUP WSS Philadelphia, Attn: Michael Walton, Contract Specialist, Code (N761.15), 700 Robbins Ave, Bldg 1, Philadelphia, PA 19111. L3Harris will be solicited on or after 15 April 2020 and the solicitation will close 30 days after the effective date of the solicitation.
