Solicitation Number: N00383-20-R-6778 NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit TELEDYNE RISI, Inc., D/B/A Teledyne Electronic Safety Products (0EUB8) for the repair of three (3) ejection seat sequencer NSNs. The intention of this solicitation is to award a Repair Requirements firm-fixed price long-term contract (LTC) with a five-year base. NSN: 1680-01-5138959 P/N: MBEU146470-6 SEQUENCE, EJECTION NSN: 1680-99-9691876 P/N: MBEU146470-4/5 RFQUENCER, SEAT, EJEC NSN: 1680-99-1258127 P/N: MBEU146470-2/3 SEQUENCER, SEAT, EJE The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Government intends to solicit (TELEDYNE RISI, INC.) The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture of the item. The applicable NAICS code is 336413. Based on Market Research, the Government’s need may be met by a type of item customarily available in the commercial market place that would meet the definition of a commercial item at FAR Subpart 2.1. The contracting officer shall solicit and award any resultant contract using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this presolicitation will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
