NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support-Philadelphia is seeking to procure four (4) MQ-8 engine spares (part number M250-10586) in support of the Fire Scout Program. NAVSUP WSS intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAVSUP WSS intends to enter into sole source negotiations with, and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to Aviall Services, Inc. (cage code 22819). Currently, the Government does not possess or have unlimited rights to all of the necessary data developed for the MQ-8 engine. Engine quantities to be contracted for are as follows: FY 19: 4 EA There is no small business set aside assigned to this requirement. These items require Government source approval prior to award. If you are not an approved source, you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure which can be obtained on the internet at https://www.navsup.navy.mil/navsup/ourteam/navsupwss/business_opps Offers received which fail to provide all data required by the source approval brochure will not be considered for award under this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirements preclude the ability to obtain subject items in time to meet Government requirements, award of this requirement may be continued based on fleet support needs.
