In reference t... The purpose of this amendment is to change the requirement from a Long Term Contract (LTC) to a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA). The synopsis close date is hereby extended to 05/10/2019. In reference to Pre-Solicitation N00383-19-R-002H, this is a Synopsis for the Repair of Navy Weapon System F-18 Component - Synopsis for NAVSUP WSS to establish a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for the requirements listed under the attached Attachment A. NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort concluding labor, material, and facilities as may be required to repair and/or modify the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to establish a repair BOA with the only Source (TEAC/EXTANT 3SDT5) under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The government does not possess (or cannot provide) the data necessary to perform the required repairs or manufacture the items. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
