NAVSUP WSS is going to issue a modification to add the NSNs listed below in support of the E-2D to Repair Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00383-17-G-BG01 with L-3 Technologies, Inc. D/B/A Randtron Antenna Systems, Menlo Park, CA. Orders issued under the Basic Ordering Agreement and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The item contemplated for procurement of repair requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and/or the technical data available has not been determined adequate to support acquisition via full and open competition. Only the source previously approved by the government for repair of this item has been solicited because the government is contracting on a sole source basis with L-3 Communications. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
