The Government is seeking repair of one radar transponder (NIIN 016561177, NSN 7R 5841 016561177 KB, P/N 4079100-0530) for the KC-130J platform under Kuwait FMS. The repair is sole source to Honeywell Limited, CAGE 07217, as the OEM and only known source with full repair capability; complete data, drawings, and rights are not available from the Government. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with the prime contractor under FAR 6.302-1, and only the previously approved source will be solicited, so new sources must qualify through Government source approval and submit the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochure data. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations for consideration, but offers lacking required source approval data will not be considered and new-source approval normally cannot delay award.
