NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a competitive basis for the purchase of the following part: Item: DETECTOR,ICE NIIN: 012122907 P/N: 00884-0015-0001 & 0871FF3 (CAGE 59885) 70302-10915-103 (CAGE 78286) 871FF3 (CAGE 0JGJ8). Qty: 5 The Government intends to acquire these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 15. Based upon market research, the Government is using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item WITHIN 15 days of this notice. Source Approval Statement applies to this NSN. This is a competitive procurement, approved sources are ROSEMOUNT AEROSPACE INC (CAGE 59885), SIKORSKY AIRCRAFT CORP (CAGE 78286) and G M S INTERNATIONAL CORP (CAGE 0JGJ8) and it is expected that award will be made to one of these firms. Any firm which is not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request, SAR. This procurement will not be delayed to wait for a SAR approval. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Solicitation will be posted to NECO. The approximate issue date for the Solicitation will be 24 March 2023 with an approximate response/closing date of 23 April 2023. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out.
