Silver Reutilization and Account Maintenance Service
The requirement is for silver reutilization and account maintenance services, specifically refining silver-bearing material from batteries to 99.9% purity for use in new battery manufacturing. Annual quantities include 328,060 troy ounces of high silver content, 582,421 troy ounces of low silver content, and 439,108 troy ounces for account maintenance, plus transaction fees. The government intends to award a single IDIQ contract with a five-year ordering period, using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection and fixed-price with economic price adjustment contract terms. Full and open competition is anticipated under FAR Part 12, with a draft Statement of Work and draft Economic Price Adjustment clause currently available.
