This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to issue a sole source solicitation for the following commercial items: Lsense Laser Components for a Mid-wave Infrared (MWIR) Laser. The RFQ number is N0025320Q0194. The resultant contract is anticipated to be awarded as a firm fixed price with a base quantity. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 333517 and has a size standard of 500 employees. The proposed contract action is for commercials items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii).
