The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 2 each First Articles, 8 each Production Lot Inertial Measurement Unit Assemblies. The government anticipates award of one (1) firm fixed price type contract. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating for this requirement is DO-A5. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511. Requirements and evaluation procedures will be listed in the solicitation, which is required to be completely filled out and returned prior to the solicitation closing date and time. Failure to respond to this RFQ and associated amendments, if applicable, prior to the closing date and time established may render an offer non-responsive and result in rejection. The solicitation closing date is anticipated to be 15 days after the issuance of the solicitation package. The actual date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
