Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC), Division Keyport intends to issue a an unrestricted, full and open solicitation of the following non-commercial supply: Vertical Launch System (VLS) 30, 6, and 7 Pin Connectors in accordance with drawing 8307644, 8307645, 8350592 and all associated drawings, changes, and specifications. The resultant contract is anticipated to be awarded as a firm fixed price with a base quantity, four option quantities and a first article. The base and each quantity will be for 130 30-pin connectors, 55 each 6 pin connectors, and 350 each 7 pin connectors. One First Article of each 30, 6, and 7 pin connector will be required. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a request for proposal (RFP) is N00253-20-R-0006. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334417 and has a size standard of 1,000 employees. Offers shall be FOB Destination. The solicitation will be available for download on or around 06 January 2020. The closing date of the solicitation will be 12 February 2021 at 1000 Pacific Standard Time, unless a later date is specified in the solicitation. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Award will be made on a best value basis.
