A critical part of NRLP legal readiness training is the required in-person annual Military Law Training Symposium (MLTS) (being renamed JAGC Reserve Readiness Training (JRT)). This training includes updates on all legal areas of Navy practice including military justice, operational law, legal assistance, and command services. MLTS/JRT is the main opportunity for NRLP leadership to ensure Reserve legal personnel are mobilization ready with the agility a sudden international conflict would require. Due to Reserve funding limitations, NRLP intends to hold MLTS/JRT in San Diego/Point Loma area for a limited number of in-person attendees while live-streaming the training for several hundred virtual attendees. This recent funding limitation has severely narrowed options for an appropriate training venue. We will only be contracting for the venue with ancillary charges such as conference room related fees and the AV/IT support. There will be no catering, lodging, or other charges added to this contract. 2. PROCUREMENT STRATEGY 2.1. The requirement owner is requesting only a venue in accordance with this SOW that would have to be within walking distance per the JTAR lodging restrictions/orders/ regulations for approximately 500 Reservist. The order and JTAR require the reservist to stay at Navy Gateway Inn and Suites in Point Loma, CA under COMNAVRESFOR 4650.1C PLEASE REFERENCE SOW FOR ALL RESTRICTIONS and DETAILS.
