This is a pre-solicitation notice for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego. This acquisition is for quarterly and annual preventative maintenance on steelshop equipment for Naval Construction Training Center (NCTC) on Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). Work shall include: Quarterly Maintenance of the following equipment; Jet Zip Miter Bandsaw, model J-9225 Pexto Shear, model 152K Jet Mill, model JMD-18PFN LeBlonde Regal Lathe, model 13x42 Piranha Ironworker, model P-50 Jet Horizontal Band saw, model MDS-132EVS-H Ingersoll Rand Compressor, model RS37I-A125 Piranha CNC Hydraulic Guillotine Shear, model ½’-10’ ELE International Concrete Cylinder Splitter, model 36-0740/02 Each quarterly inspection shall include: Inspection of electrical controls, cabling, wiring and all switches Inspection of motor amps and noise Drive belts and pulley’s Coolant pumps, hydraulic cylinders and cylinder rods Check and adjust as necessary gibs and drive nuts for X and Y axis where applicable Check oil levels and top off as needed Inspection of hydraulic hoses and valves for damage or leaks Inspection of lubrication systems, lube lines and lube to all points Check gearbox and gears for noise where applicable Check Spindle down drive and spindle run out where applicable and adjust Check and adjust gibs and blade gaps where necessary Check mechanical linkage and clamp locks where applicable Check notcher blades, shear blades where applicable and check for sharpness Annual Preventive maintenance to include in addition to quarterly requirements above; Removal of used oil, cleaning of oil tanks where applicable. Check for loose hardware and tighten to manufacture spec as necessary. Installation of filters and oil as applicable. The procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses only. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310 (Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment) with a size standard of $12.5 million. The due date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. There will be an electronic submission with which the solicitation will explain in further detail. The solicitation will be available for download through SAM.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about June 12, 2023 and should be downloaded from this website at that time.
