This contract is for government owned Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)-Structural Sets located within Navy Region Southwest (NRSW). A set includes one Structural coat and one Structural pant. This is a non-personal services contract with a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) component covering Preventive Maintenance (PM) to include Advanced Inspection, Cleaning and Certification and a Time and Material component covering any Corrective Maintenance (CM) repairs, as required. This is a pre-solicitation notice for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego. This acquisition is for preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) supporting CNRSW’s Fire and Emergency Services (F&ES). The solicitation will result in a single contract award. Work shall include: Provide all consumables and tools required to clean, inspect and/or perform corrective maintenance on all PPE Structural Sets at all locations up to 960 sets/1,920 pieces per contract year. This contract requires pickup, drop-off and/or shipping service at all the locations identified in Section 6.4 of the PWS. PPE Structural Sets must be returned to manufacturers & NFPA guidelines for certification for use. Contractor shall work with the Installation POC for coordination on the pick-up, drop off and/or shipping schedule and provide schedule to the COR and Technical POC (TPOC). Contractor shill provide all consumables and tools required to complete this service. Contractor shall track all sets shipped by each installation and notify COR & TPOC at the end of every third month (each quarter) how many sets have been cleaned and certified. This procurement will be set-aside 100% for small business. The NAICS code for this procurement is 812332 (Industrial Launderers) with a size standard of $41.5 million. The due date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. There will be an electronic submission with, which the solicitation will explain in further detail. The solicitation will be available for download through SAM.gov. The solicitation will be posted on or about 19 July 2023 and should be downloaded from this website at that time.
