**The purpose of this amendment to the Sources Sought Notice is to provide a response to the questions received for this notice.** This is a Request for Information(RFI) for a tentative requirement to... **The purpose of this amendment to the Sources Sought Notice is to provide a response to the questions received for this notice.** This is a Request for Information(RFI) for a tentative requirement to provide a scanning electron microscope (SEM) and focused ion beam (FIB) at Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) located in Monterey, California as further defined in the attached Draft Statement of Requirements. As part of its market research, NAVSUP FLC San Diego is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified interested contractors capable of providing a SEM-FIB as further described in the Draft Statement of Requirements. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. The Draft Statement of Requirements describes only the currently contemplated possible scope and may vary from the work scope in a final Statement of Requirements included in any solicitation. The anticipated period of performance is 08 February 2021 – 07 February 2022 (12-month Base + four (4) 12-month options). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333314 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1000 (# of employees). This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NAVSUP FLC San Diego market research. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. Responses to this RFI are not proposals on which NAVSUP FLC San Diego can issue any award. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a solicitation. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. NAVSUP FLC San Diego will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested contractors are to submit the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, e-mail address; DUNNS, and information regarding your company’s experience in providing SEM-FIB in the last five years identifying: contracting agency, contract number, title, place of performance, years of performance, and value of contract. Respondents must indicate all small business designations. Interested firms should submit a document which furnishes information describing relevant demonstrated experience and qualifications in the following format: The submissions should be Times New Roman, font size 12 and should not exceed ten (10) one-sided, 8 X 11 pages in Microsoft Word or PDF format to the contract specialist via email to: maya.maxies-clemons@navy.mil. Submissions must be received via email no later than 3:00PM Pacific Standard Time on Monday, 19 October 2020. Questions or comments regarding this notice shall be posted to the Contract Negotiator in writing and via EMAIL ONLY. No phone calls will be accepted. NO HARDCOPY OR FACSIMILE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, etc.) will not be considered.
