NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego is issuing a solicitation under full and open competition in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures to provide Naval Base Ventura County, Site Port Hueneme and Point Mugu with Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to Government Owned Material Handling Equipment Interested parties shall provide their proposals to the Government in accordance with the Addendum to 52.212-1 in the solicitation by the closing date and time of this solicitation. The applicable North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. Offerors are advised that they must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database, SAM.gov, prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) is conducting a Market Survey (MS) to identify interested and capable businesses, stimulate industry awareness and, gain feedback to improve the acquisition environment/process. Firms possessing the capabilities to perform the tasking described in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) and information below are encouraged to respond. The contractor will be tasked to accomplish the work as specified in Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement (PWS). Seeking commercial sources capable of providing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to Government Owned Material Handling Equipment located at Naval Base Ventura County, Port Hueneme and Point Mugu. The Government anticipates this effort to be a Firm Fixed Price FFP type contract with a 12-month base period of performance plus four (4) 12-month option periods. This is a new requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance with a small business size standard of $12.5 (millions of dollars). Interested parties should provide a Capability Statement (no more than 5 pages). Illustrations such as tables, flowcharts, organizational charts, process charts or other similar type informational charts may be used, and they will be counted against the page count limitations. Electronic responses (i.e. email) are preferred and telephonic request for information will not be honored. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. No request for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Responses that do not conform to the MS instructions may not be considered by the Government.
