NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, in support of USS BOXER (LHD-4), is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation as a total Small Business (SB) set-aside for a commercial Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to procure fire retardant wood that will be used as support braces, installed between the hull of the landing craft and the adjacent ships bulkheads, to enhance the crafts’ stability in response to the ships movement. This procurement will be conducted using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection process in accordance with FAR Part 13. Interested parties shall provide their best offer to the Government in accordance with the Addendum to 52-212-1 in the solicitation by the closing date and time of this solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 321113 "Sawmills". Offerors are advised that they must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database, SAM.gov, prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
