This is a solicitation notice for NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego. This acquisition is for preventative and corrective maintenance services for AMEREX model 673 wheeled halotron fire extinguishers located in the Southwest Region to include: NAS Fallon, NAS Lemoore, NAS El Centro, NAB Coronado, NB Ventura County and NB China Lake . The solicitation will result in a single contract award. Work shall include: Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Services for additional information please refer to Performance Work Statement. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business under NAICS 811310 and a size standard of $12.5 million. The due date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. There will be an electronic submission in which the solicitation will explain in further detail. The solicitation will be available for download through SAM.gov. The solicitation will be posted on SAM.gov and should be downloaded from this website at that time. All questions and bids must be submitted via email to jheanna.u.poblete.civ@us.navy.mil. Questions received via phone will not be acknowledged. Electronic copies of all volumes will be required to be received by the Contracting Office provided in the RFP by the closing date and time specified in order to be considered for award.

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) San Diego is currently soliciting offers to provide a non-personal services contract to provide Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) to flight-line wheeled fire extinguishers and hydrostatic testing is required for compliance with current National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 10, for Portable Fire Extinguishers and the AMEREX manufacturer’s manual. The timing for servicing the cylinders is based on the original delivery schedule to the installations from 2018 to 2019, beginning with NAS El Centro & NAS Lemoore. The remainder of the installations, Navy Base Ventura County, NAS Fallon, Navy Base Coronado & NAWS China Lake, will be completed in Option Year 1 of the contract. The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract. This requirement will be solicited as 100% Total small business set-aside. Period of performance will be a base one year, plus one year options.
