This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Cellco Partnership dba Verizon Wireless under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 since Verizon is the only known source that can satisfy NAVFAC Hawaii (HI)'s requirement at this time. The requirement is for wireless cellular services for the NAVFAC HI Area of Responsibility. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing wireless services to support the NAVFAC HI offices and areas where they provide facility support. The services include 24-hour telephone support, access to wireless devices via online wireless database systems, and providing timely reports to validate invoicing charges. Coverage areas include NAVFAC HI main compound, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH), JBPHH Wahiawa Annex, JBPHH West Loch Annex, JBPHH Lualualei Annex, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands (PMRF), Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Waiawa Potable Water Pump Station, Camp H.M. Smith, transit areas between the bases, and an offsite water treatment plant. Services will be procured through a task order from an indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 517210 and the annual size standard is 1500 employees. The contract term will be a one year period. This task order will replace a task order for similar services awarded in FY19 to Cellco Partnership dba Verizon Wireless for $17,354.03. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
