This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Philadelphia Office on behalf of the Joint Staff. The Joint Staff has a requirement for three full size, four-door, all-wheel drive (AWD) Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to serve as the backup security vehicles for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (VCJCS). The purpose of this RFI is to get an understanding of the current inventory of vendors. Specifically, the Government is interested in knowing if any vendor currently has vehicles meeting the requirements of the Performance Work Statement and, if so, when the vehicles could be delivered. In support of this, the following information is requested from vendors: Firm information (name, CAGE, UEID, Point of Contract Information, etc.) Vehicle information Model of SUV, to include year and trim packages Quantity of vehicles If the vehicles are currently in inventory or need to be ordered Earliest delivery date (the earliest date the vehicles could be delivered to the Joint Staff at the Pentagon) The government will consider and analyze all information received; formal responses will not be furnished, however the information may be utilized in the development of a future Request for Quotations. This is not a notice of solicitation issue. This RFI does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ), nor does this issuance restrict the Government’s acquisition approach.
