The requirement is for continued Digital Forensics Examiner Support services for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). The contractor will perform complex, high-profile, non-destructive evaluations of target computer systems to identify operating and file systems, stored information, user and program logs, ownership and access methods, and security features and usage. Support also includes detailed forensic examinations for NCIS cases involving computers, mobile devices, or other digital media as instruments of a crime, DoN computer networks as victims, or digital media storing evidentiary or intelligence data.
