Submarine Force Museum Museum Display Cases
The Submarine Force Museum intends to procure two conservation-grade microclimate display cases for future exhibits, as part of an effort to update all cases to uniform museum preservation standards. These moveable cases are needed because current cases do not meet preservation standards and are causing artifact degradation. The new cases will replace a recalled double mannequin case, allowing continued display of two mannequins without disrupting the visitor experience. They will also enable the museum to borrow artifacts from other institutions that require stricter display conditions. The cases must align with the design, engineering, and appearance of the existing benchmark cases already installed in the exhibit.
