The opportunity involves supplying a fully automated cage system for analyzing rat home cage behavior and cognitive abilities, specifically a TSE Systems IntelliCage NewBehavior Bundle for one cage setup. The system enables continuous, long-term behavioral monitoring for up to 24 hours without human intervention, collecting data on activity, exploration, learning, and spatial preference. It includes design, controller, and analyzer software, along with enrichment, cleaning supplies, and specified electrical and dimensional requirements. Installation of the hardware will be performed on-site by a qualified vendor representative at Naval Medical Research Unit San Antonio. Remote software training will be provided by qualified representatives.
